Busy Days

We have been super busy lately and I haven't kept up with posting the pictures from our recent escapades. Here we went to a Nazareth Academy picnic where the girls got to play with one of their favorite little friends, Meredith. Nazareth Academy is the school I coach for and we are in playoffs right now. We play Tuesday the 4th(also Denver's birthday) for the Sectional Title.

Willa ans I also took a field trip with her Preschool class to Cobblecreek Farms. We went on a "hay ride"(no hay involved) and picked out pumpkins. It was a little chilly but still enjoyable.

And now into Halloween with our little flower and cheerleader. Halloween was warm enough to go out without coats, if a bit windy. They made it solidly around the block but after that their little legs were plum tuckered out. Even so, they both got hoards of candy that should last them for a long, long time

It's a Girl!!

We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out that we are having another little girl. Most important is that the baby is healthy and growing just as she should be. Unfortunately, Wayne will be outnumbered! The girls, although saying before hand that they would like a boy, seemed pleased as punch to hear it was a girl. Considering that this is likely our last, I wasn't sad that this was a girl (It's hard to be sad at an ultrasound, I think the only thing you can be is amazed). I think I was a little sad that we weren't going to ever have a boy. But our girls are so good. So who could mind another one. We also got a chance to see a 3D image of her. The technology was not available in the office for Willa or Denver so we were pretty excited we got to see it this time.

Corn Maze

With my volleyball season finishing up, there hasn't been a lot of time for fun family stuff but we did manage to get out during the fabulous weather last weekend and visit a local farm that was decked out for Halloween. We did the Corn Maze, though with a pregnant Mom and little legs, I can't say we were in there long. But it was happily followed with some donuts and cider and other fun activities.

On Saturday we went to the Strong National Museum of Play to see the new Curious George exhibit. It was a very popular place but the kids always love going there.

They have a great little exhibit of a mini Wegmans where the kids can go shopping and check out their own groceries.

We even caught a show by the Bubble Guy who did really cool things with bubbles.

After the show and a little lunch, we explored the Manhattan Square Park next to the museum.

Possum Graduates!

Possum made it through his first round of classes graduating from Petsmarts' Puppy Class. The class was very fun for Possum who got a lot of off leash play time with Peanut and Oscar. It was informative for us humans too.

First Day of Kindergarten!

Here's the first day of Kindergarten and Denver handled it like a Pro! A big hug and kiss for Mom and Dad and she happily climbed onto the bus and waved goodbye. I managed to hold a few tears off until the bus pulled away.

Here she is getting off the bus after, what sounds like, a fantastic first day of school!!
