Bathroom Makeover

Well, here they are, the pictures from our bathroom makeover.  It's been done for some time but for some time we've been pretty busy. Here's what we started with...

Over Christmastime we had our family sign the walls before the new drywall and tile went up.

We decided on a shower instead of a bath since we have a bath upstairs and I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've taken a bath in the last 15 years.  Don't miss it at all and love the tiled bench seat so much more!
Self-leveling compound for a floor that would never be level.  Love older houses:)
Ahhhh, are my tootsies glad we put in the radiant heat flooring:)

The Potter is Kerry Brooks and we found this gem on our trip out to CO this Summer at gallery.  Love it:)

Cubbies for all that 'stuff' that you need in a bathroom but don't want to see.  Love that it's out of direct line of sight from the rest of the room.
Very expensive, but so very nice, shower system.  And below is my waterfall faucet.
Wayne installed his own medicine cabinet in between the studs with wiring for an outlet so he could charge his razor out of sight:)

And crown moulding and extra lighting make all the difference.  Wayne did an awesome job and saved us oodles of $$$ by doing all the work himself.  We still spent way more than I had originally thought we would, but I think it was all worth it!
